| The 1st CICEN Expo opens in Taiyuan, Shanxi |

The 1st China (Taiyuan) International Coal and Energy New Industry Expo is held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province from Sep 16 to 18.
On the morning of Sep 17, the 1st CICEN Expo comes off the grand opening ceremony. The State Councilor and Secretary-General of the State Council Hua Jianmin, Minister of MOFCOM Bo Xilai, Vice Minister of MOFCOM Gao Hucheng, Secretary-General of Shanxi Provincial Committee Zhang Baoshun, Acting Governor of Shanxi Meng Xuenong as well as officials, delegations and delegates of famous global enterprises were present the opening ceremony. Accompanied by Minister Bo, Vice Minister Gao and the officials of Shanxi, the State Councilor Hua Jianmin visited and inspected the expo and attended the Peak Forum on the Sustainable Development of Coal and Energy New Industry.
For the purpose of implementing the State’s energy development strategy basing on coal and building the exchange and cooperation platform for international coal and energy new industry, approved by the State Council, the People’s Government of Shanxi Province and the MOFCOM of China jointly organize the 1st China (Taiyuan) International Coal and Energy New Industry Expo. The Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM, Commerce Department of Shanxi Province, Shanxi Provincial Investment Promotion Center and other related organizations are the sponsors of the expo. |
