To promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Europe, especially the enterprises of the two countries and help the Chinese enterprises to explore the European markets, China Europa 2007，under the support of the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.China and Ministry of the Economic, Finance and Employment of France, was opened in Le Havre, France on December 11, 2007. China Europa 2007 was jointly hosted by the Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM of P.R.China and Le Havre Development Bureau. Accompanied by the Vice Director-general of TDB Jia Guoyong, Vice Minister Yu Guangzhou inspected the pavilion and had cordial talks with the participating enterprises and work staff. Soon afterwards, Vice Minister Yu Guangzhou together with Mrs. Christine Lagarde, French Minister for　economy,finances and employment attended the opening ceremony and they both delivered speeches as well.

The three-day exhibition includes topic report, business matching and exhibition with an exhibition area of 8008 square meters. The participating enterprises occupied 170 booths and 524 exhibitors participated in the expo. The participating Chinese enterprises mainly involved in industrial manufacturing, trade logistics, investment and other fields. Next year, China Europa 2008 will be held in China.
