On the morning of November 9, 2007, China (Shenzhen) International Optics Fair (CIOF), which is jointly hosted by Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C (TDB) and Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce, was opened in Shenzhen Conventional and Exhibition Centre. The TDB Director General Feng Hongzhang was present at the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Mr. Feng also had talks with professional clients, the representatives of industrial institutions as well as part of exhibitors from USA, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and other countries. Hereafter, he listened to the comments and suggestions made by the exhibitors on the organizations and supporting services of the Fair.
The total exhibition area of 2007 China (Shenzhen) International Optics Fair reaches 7,500 squ.m with 250 standard booths. The professional oversea clients from more than a dozen countries and regions such as USA, Italy, Japan, France, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Hongkang, Macao participated in the fair. In addition, the annual conference of Asia Optical Union will also convened during the Fair.
