| Director General Feng Hongzhang attends 2007 China Int'l Shoe Fair |

On the morning of October 8, 2007, the Director General of Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM(TDB) Feng Hongzhang arrived the exhibition ground of 2007 China International Shoes Fair. He visited the Italian booth, Spanish booth and Brazil Exhibition delegation as well as part of Chinese brand booths. Director Feng Hongzhang talked with the delegates of the above organizations and part of exhibitors and got a detailed understanding of the features, prices and sales of the exhibits. Then he listened to the comments and suggestions of the exhibitors to the organization work and related services.
In Oct 9, Director Feng Hongzhang attended the Beijing World Shoes forum which was held in China International Hotel. Director Feng delivered speech in the forum and presented prizes of award for 2007 international shoes exchanges to CEDDEC Chairman Massimo Donda and ANCI Vive Chairman Ballin. In the evening Director Feng Hongzhang also attended the Italian Fashion Show and the reception banquet. During that, Director Feng Hongzhang discussed with Italy Ambassador in China Ricca Rdo Sessa and the Chief Representative of Italian Trade Commission (I.T.C.) Antonino Laspina on the bilateral trade ties, the common development of shoes industry in both countries and deeper cooperation between TDB and I.T.C.
CHINA INTERNATIONAL SHOES FAIR is jointly sponsored by China Chamber of Commerce for I/E of Light Industrial Products & Arts-Crafts, Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, China World Trade Centre Co.,Ltd and Beijing MOD Convention and Exhibition Co.,Ltd and convened in Beijing International Trade Centre from Oct. 8 to 10, 2007 with a total exhibition area of 3,000 square meters. Firms from Italy, Spain nearly 3,000 professional audiences were present in the Fair. |
